Our story
Hi, we’re Avery & Karelia Powers
We’re husband and wife, and Well Stewarded is our family business. We own it, we run it, and we treat your books the way we’d treat our own family’s finances.
It started at church. For more than six years, Avery has served at our local church, and still does, keeping the books and slowly helping them become more efficient: cleaner books, simpler processes, and less time spent on paperwork, so more time goes toward the people they serve.
That experience showed us how much a well-run back office helps an organization thrive. Well Stewarded grew out of it, and we bring that same patient, practical approach to every client we work with.

Avery Powers
Avery handles your books day to day, from reconciliations and monthly reports to the CFO-level reviews that help you plan ahead. With 6+ years of serving a busy local church, Avery knows how to bring order and efficiency to an organization’s finances, one process at a time.
Admin, scheduling & advisory
Karelia Powers
Karelia keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, handling admin and scheduling, and works with clients as an advisor on business strategy and understanding their reports.
She brings experience as a Senior Administrative Coordinator at Johns Hopkins University and 8+ years at a private school in Baltimore, Maryland. She knows complex administrative workflows inside and out and has a deep understanding of working with people. For businesses that want a consultant overseeing the bigger picture, Karelia is a valuable partner to have in your corner.
